I did my usual shopping at the CBA on Saturday and gave some food. Then a bit more. The food drive people were a bit surprised and wanted a souvenir of the Canadian guy.

I was heading in when a couple of the young girls handed me a little flyer-all in Hungarian so I asked what it was. I got a couple of charming blank stares and then someone managed to explain it as a food drive. I came back after I was done with some extra canned food and politely asked is they needed anything else

‘Museli..” was the answer

‘Let me borrow a couple of the girls and we will go shopping’-I replied.

And trip number two began. We hunted all around for Museli. Then pate, then chocolate…until we were good and done.

And that’s pre-Xmas in Budapest.
