- Game 9-Fedorchuk’s technical R-R ending in the Agzamov Memorial(3)

Game 1
GM Volkov kept pushing his IQP to dominate the position. The ending was not perfect but the French Defence earned a valuable victory.

GM Arizmendi Martinez defended with the ambitious 3…Be7 line and grabbed a pawn but allowed GM Sjugirov fantastic piece play.

5.dc is gaining some popularity but white got nothing special in the game. GM Firman massaged down GM Rustemov’s IQP in a nice ending.
