BUDA-2 2021 Caro-Kann
Reviewing my games from BUDA-2 2021 continues. I played the Caro-Kann 3 times and scored 1/3 but a closer review of the games showed some rather alarming mistakes and error types. I tried to adopt the annotation approach recommended in How to Study Chess on Your Own-Kuljasevic(New in Chess 2021).
My basic conclusion is that my opening play was quite poor and needs huge work. There were numerous calculation mistakes made but these are generally in line with my level. I also need more work in typical middlegame plans arising from the opening. At least I gained 42 elo points, but still I am below 2000(but not far to go I hope). There are still some games I need to look at more deeply.
