Results-Round 6

I walked into a combination today and lost. I defended the Philidor again and after 18.Rh3(diagram) black was under big pressure on the kingside.

18..Nh5?(already black is lost but in the game I thought this was quite clever to block off the h-file) 19.Be3 Qg7(diagram) (This was my big plan to relieve the pressure by forcing a queen trade. After black can play for a blockade of the e6 pawn with ..Ng7-e6 and be quite happy.)

White followed with 19.Be3 to break the pin on Nd4 and add more pressure on f5. After 19..Qg7( following up consistently to force white into a queen trade-so I thought). DIAGRAM

Now white came up with 20.Rxh5!(I saw this) 20..gh(So far all is going according to plan) DIAGRAM

Now the cold shower came as white played 21.Qxg7!(I had only considered 21.Qxh5 Qg6 to hold the kingside) and there followed a forced sequence with black on the losing end of a long series of captures. 21..Kxg7(DIAGRAM)

22.Nxf5+(Now the unprotected Bc5 is the problem) 22..Bxf5 23.Bxc5 Nd7 24.Bxf8+(regaining the exchange) 24..Rxf8 25.Bxf5 Rxf5 (The capturing comes to an end but not the forcing play)DIAGRAM

Now the final sting 26.Ng3! (and black must resign as another pawn falls. Black cannot play 26..Rxf4 winning a P as the rook is lost to a fork 27.Nxh5+) so 1-0.
