The Gara sisters turned on the afterburners and both delivered wins has Hungary remained perfect in a 5-way tie for first. Papp got the day off.

Gara,Ticia’s extra P was too much after 35.Nd3(diagram). The opening was a Bb5+ Sicilian where White sacrificed the e-pawn. However this idea did not work and the extra P came back to haunt White.

Gara,T continued with 35..f4 and White got squeezed off the board.
