BTCh 2015-16 Rd3

Results

I contributed a rather sad loss defending a Nimzo-Indian.

Wanger,Tamas-Yip,M(board 6)(CB13 now allows quite easy publishing of games)

Black has a pawn for the exchange and just played 33..Kh7(diagram)

After 33..Kh7

White found the strong 34.g4! and Black was suffering and lost quickly.

The post game analysis was quite entertaining and educational as I tried to explain my mistakes away with ‘blah blah…my nice blockade on e5….and then a blunder…’

But a few moments at home with an engine showed even more mistakes.

Hopefully these pics will turn out well(clearly I should have invested in a smartphone much earlier in my life).
