I did nothing special for the 3,5 points I finished with. Kantor Krisztian(unrated) almost beat me but was running short of time when he offered me a draw. I was a pawn down with a bit of counterplay but had to accept or risk losing.

I tried something new with 1..g6 and slowly drifted into the following position. I should have politely resigned after White’s next move but played on much too long.

Gallery

The playing was quite spacious, the tables large and there was plenty of room for the two groups. There was also a nice buffet serving sandwiches, snacks, coffee and ice cream(!).

Digital clocks, beautiful wooden sets and a separate analysis room made is another nice event to play.
