I contributed a win for MTK IV as board 1 but the match was lost. Overall not a good day for MTK with two losses and a tie

The scheduled trip got off to a small surprise as the commuter train service as suspended(which was a surprise to me) but was aptly substituted for with replacement buses. I met up with a couple of teammates and off we went to the middle of nowhere

A Group Final Ranking after 6 Rounds

There was a three way tie for first place Nemeth Gergely, Csati Oliver and IM To Nhat Minh with 4.5/6

I won my last game to finish with a modest 3.5/6. The morning game  was a disaster but I managed to draw with some luck after blundering a pawn early in the game

The organization was super with all announcements translated to English for the numerous foreign players. All complaints were attended to promptly and the cellphone rules were strictly enforced

There was a bonus lunch service for a modest 950HUF also which I did not try

The tournament was first class and I am looking forward to the next edition next February
